Leadership is one of the components of our lives that has been extensively studied for many years but still today e facing leadership challenges. Common resources are consistently being abused by those in position of authority. This is the result of thinking that leadership is based on position more than inspirational influence. Many people once they get appointed to be in charge of the resources on behalf of the masses, they tend to think they have ownership of the resources. We have have seen many people taking what belongs to the masses for their own selfish satisfaction.
This type pf behavior needs to uprooted from our society. However, we first need to acknowledge that we have the leadership problem and embrace the task to solve it. The first point, is to address the existing perceptions about what leadership is and what makes an individual a leader. Dealing with leadership software first will enable u to easily address the leadership hardware problems.

I fully agree with what is been said
Leadership myths must be exposed so that those in position may know that they are there to serve not for personal gain
A leader serves and does not necessarily lead from the front
A true leader must be time vigilante as to know when to step aside and let others learn but must help them
In a nutshell anyone can be a leader but not everyone can lead at once therefore a leader must be time vigilante as to when they must either step down or up
Indeed, you have have touched the heart of the matter. Leaders must be willing to empower their successors early so as to avoid the leadership crisis when they have to vacate the position.
