THE VALUE of FURNACE.

Here we talking about the furnace of affliction, from the fact that fire is used to purify or try metals, afflictions have the same effect / or is meant to have the same effect in people.

We are not sent to the furnace to be consumed, not at all. The problems and situations we face are there to bring out the best in us.

How does this happen?

Through the furnace is where we discover who we really are. What are we made of; as orange gives orange juice once it’s squeezed.

Afflictions have a way of bringing us to a turning point. The moment where we make up our minds to focus in life. The awakening! In this, we finally realise that time too short to be wasted on things non-sense. Silver gets to be to be moulded again in the hands of its potter. So it is in us. The fire not only brings out purity within us, but also gives a another moment in the hands of our potter so that we can be shaped and reshaped for that specific purpose we here for.

Purification is destiny. The only way to get to that destiny is through the furnace. It is in this that our value is realised and we step into our destiny.

We all look the same until gold is discovered in us. Furnace in afflictions brings out the value. Then upon that discover is where we build our success in life; and the lasting legacy we would leave behind to our children.

After you have gone through the furnace, now you have a story to tell. A powerful story that will transform / inspire / encourage / or teach someone else. For we now have been build on a true foundation in establishing ourselves in wisdom and understanding. We therefore becomes a perfect tool to mentor someone else.

Gold is what comes out when the process through the furnace is complete. So is creativity coming out of a person who have gone through hard times.

Lastly, the furnace makes us human again; once our egos has been puffed up by earthly gratifications, afflictions are there to remind us that there is Elohim. He is the God who sees (EL ROI).

Africa Needs TrueLeaders

Africa is rich, beautiful and potent with brave and hard working people.

It is degraded and defamed by greedy, selfish and bad leadership. Bad leadership in the sense that it is always busy looting and accumulate wealth to enrich itself while impoverish the general public.

The leaders have huge bank accounts in Enrope, America, Australia and wherever full of dollars, Euros and pounds while a local person is dying of starvation and no drugs in hospitals, no fuel in ambulances, low education standards, poor road network etc.

Africa needs true leadership that long for positions to serve; honesty trustworthy, accountable and visionary. Leadership that has heart full of grace, generated by love to serve and save lives that can not afford to fly and seek medical treatment in Germany, USA, Israel even Canada.

Africa needs leadership that has not day dreams but that of foresight that can use the resources minerals we have in our soils to develop and make Africa a better place to live large.

It is the only true leadership that can sacrifice to take risks in fighting against corruption, terrorism, poverty, diseases, unemployment, tribalism, illiterancy, ignorance and all that have put Africa in a mass can raise up a flag of victory.

When Leaders Lead

Leadership is the concept that has been explored and debated for many centuries. It is the fundamental subject because it affects areas of life. The outlook of our life today is connected to the decisions of yesterday taken by those who led us.

However, I want us to understand that the first influential leader in our lives is us. The decisions we make about our yesterday’s effects, today’s moment and tomorrow’s impact lies within us. The influence of others is either in line with what already in existence within us or it gives us opportunity to have a better perspective about life. The key decision either way still depends on you. So, lead yourself well and by doing so you will influence others to inspire your model of leadership.

What happens when leaders decide to lead?

First let me say not everyone in position of leadership is leading nor everyone in followership is following. When leaders decide to lead they first ask themselves about the vision, mission, objectives, principles and values required to lead others to the better future. Then they align their character, attitude,talents and resources to the vision.

When Leaders decide to lead they do not seek followers instead they seek opportunities to serve others. It is through the leader’s serving that the followers get inspired to join the leader. When leaders serve with humility and passion followers get energised to dedicate themselves to the vision.

However, do not be deceived as the leader to think that every follower is with you for the right reason. Some come to you because of the benefits and others come to help you to fulfil the vision. So be wise to discern the brick from the scaffold. Brick is part of the building but scaffold is there for temporary season.

When leaders are leading hope rises and things that was out of order become structured. The negative status quo changes. When leaders are leading followers potential is unleashed and dreams get to be made reality.

So as a leader you have to lead and lead well!

Leadership Thought

Leadership is one of the components of our lives that has been extensively studied for many years but still today e facing leadership challenges. Common resources are consistently being abused by those in position of authority. This is the result of thinking that leadership is based on position more than inspirational influence. Many people once they get appointed to be in charge of the resources on behalf of the masses, they tend to think they have ownership of the resources. We have have seen many people taking what belongs to the masses for their own selfish satisfaction.

This type pf behavior needs to uprooted from our society. However, we first need to acknowledge that we have the leadership problem and embrace the task to solve it. The first point, is to address the existing perceptions  about what leadership is and what makes an individual a leader. Dealing with leadership software first will enable u to easily address the leadership hardware problems.
